Knight Rider, a shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

Michael Knight, a young loner on a crusade to champion the cause of the innocent, the helpless, the powerless, in a world of criminals who operate above the law.”

Based on the hit 1980s TV show Knight Rider, this set features the iconic Knight Industries Two Thousand – or KITT – the sentient supercomputer sports car. KITT is a classic 80s Trans-Am in a six stud wide design perfectly at home on the roads of any LEGO City layout.

But it took more than a talking car to win viewers in the mid-80s. It helped if your car could transform. So in the fourth season of the show KITT was given a special Super Pursuit Mode that gave him a 40% boost in speed. And speaking of speed, this set is designed to be rebuilt from Normal Cruise to Super Pursuit Mode and back again in a matter of seconds. Swap out a few modular parts and KITT's ready to race to danger.

Additionally, KITT features room for a Michael Knight minifigure and a Voice Modulator located above the steering wheel.

If you remember Knight Rider fondly, or just appreciate sports cars that transform into even sporty cars, please consider supporting Knight Rider: KITT With SPM Conversion.
