This is a Christmas carousel surprise box. The difference between the previous Lego series or general merchandise on the market is that this surprise box really does the carousel items are able to rise and fall in the process of rotation! In addition, Lego has not yet released any Christmas-related carousel merchandise, so I am sure that this product has the value to be released by Lego, and welcome to support it while Christmas is approaching!
When I was working on my last project, I kept wondering if I should try to make a carousel box related to the Christmas series. So I started to look for information on the internet, about the mechanism of the carousel or about christmas-related colors such as red, green and white, and so on. After I've consolidated a bunch of information that I've found or seen, it's time for me to give it a go.
The first thing I accomplished was how to make the objects rise and fall during the spinning process, which wasn't difficult for me because I'm good at building mechanisms, so as long as I know how the real human carousel mechanism works, I can improve it and present a similar effect with Lego blocks. Then I tried to use red, white and green parts to make the appearance of the carousel, the whole thing looked full of Christmas spirit, so I was very satisfied with the look.
Once I had completed the basic structure, it was time to design the more difficult components. In order to make people have a refreshing feeling, so I tried to make it look like a moose popped out of a gift box and this also took me a lot of effort, but I finally finished. When the switch is stuck and does not run smoothly is a failure. After countless failures, I have to keep testing until the mechanism runs smoothly.
Then, in order to continue the sense of surprise brought by opening the Christmas presents, I tried to make the following two effects: First, the elf disguised as a Christmas tree and then appeared from the top of the Christmas tree to give people a surprise, and the second is the effect of the bear dolls popping out of the Christmas stocking. Because of the reference to the experience of the previous failures, so these two effects that didn't take me too much time!
I've put a lot of effort into designing this one, and it's my second Christmas design, so I hope you'll like it.
Thank you for your patience and support, and I hope you all enjoy my work and have a nice day.
