Falkor the Luck Dragon

The wise, optimistic luck dragon, Falkor, flies onto the scene with just under 800 pieces and whole lot of charm! From floppy ears and the glimmering scales to the floppy tongue, his model focuses on whooshability and will hold up to neverending fantasy play! It was always a dream to race through the sky on the back of a luck dragon and, perhaps, there's a story unfolding here for all of us to enjoy. Instead of doing nothing, hop on for a magical adventure on this sizeable build of a true classic!

I built this model because I was inspired by a recent IDEAS theme competition. Also, it just so happens that it looks like we'll be getting a remake of the movie from which Falkor originates! How cool is that? I believe there are a lot builders out there, both young and old, who can enjoy this model and the stories it can inspire us to create together!

It would make a great LEGO set because... well... what's not to like about an articulated luck dragon that's Minifigure scale? What would Falkor look like with armor on? Or a different silly costume? The point is that his magic beast can also act as a blank canvas for our imaginations.
