Blue and Yellow Macaw (Ara ararauna)
Also known as the Blue and Gold Macaw, lives in Panama and Columbia through to South-Central Brazil. They breed and live in the tropical rainforests of South America. The Blue and Yellow Macaw is an endangered species, although classed as ‘Least Concern’ by the International Union for Conservation of Nature, (IUCN). This particular Macaw is considered to be one of the most beautiful, trainable and intelligent species of these parrots.
By supporting this project hopefully we can together raise awareness of this beautiful endangered bird.
