This clock was inspired by a cuckoo clock that my grandma gave to me. The real one holds a special place in my heart and so I thought i'd re-create it in LEGO form! I am super happy with the final result and hope you will show your support!
Starting at the bottom there are three weights with three other chains to re-wind it (however it doesn't re-wind its just for looks:).
Then there is the "house" lined with branches and leaves with a bird at the top. There is one door and when you open it a blue bird pops out! The roof is covered in tiles to give it a finished wood look.
But of course there is the clock face! Unfortunately it is not powered and doesn't keep time but I have no idea how to make it do that whatsoever. 😂 There is a place on the back so that you can hang it on your wall because I mean where else would you put it!
There are just over 1100 pieces and I think it looks extraordinary and would fit well into any LEGO collectors room.
