This is my new coast Uk coastguard truck which is in service around our coasts. The coast guard truck can use the equipment in a range of situations to help people.
These range from:
- search and rescue
- cliff rescues
- mud rescues
The vechicle is 14 studs long and 6 wide. The rear opens up to access the range of gear inside. The roof is also easy removable. In the truck is all of the search and rescue equipement along with the mud equipment.
Equipment held in the truck:
- 2 torches
- first aid kit
- binoculars
- mud shoes (I used ski shoes to act as mud boots)
- mud lances (poles to help rescuers walk)
- a winch (for mud and cliff rescues)
- a fold out strecher (located on the roof)
- compressed water with sprayer (this helps pull people out of the mud)
- a chain ( for general purpose)
The trailer holds additional gear for cliff top rescues. A tripod can be constructed to lower the coast guard over the cliff to help people.
