Help your fellow builder by leaving your feedback based on these three criteria:
- Originality: How original is this - never seen before?
- Building Techniques: How much skill do you think the creator of this MOC has, in terms of building technique?
- Details: Express how much you like the details of the build.
Your feedback is only shown to the creator as well as yourself. It is not available for other users to see. The creator won't see your user name.
Who hasn't watched Got Talent in his own country ? Who doesn't remember Susan Boyle and all the other unknown people who were able to express their talents thanks to this show. All versions of the stunning show are derived from Britain's Got Talent. The original version, created by Simon Cowell, is world-renowned. At one time or another, we've all seen an extract that amazed us.
I created this set because I'm a really huge fan of this famous show and I wanted to recreate it to allow young and old fans to relive these emotions, to imagine more famous moments, and maybe to believe in their own dreams.
This 2,446-piece set is divided into two main parts you can see there (the gold background has been designed on my own).
- Firstly, the stage, with its large screens and recognizable logo, its lighting elements and crosses, the backstage hidden behind the pretty walls of the famous theater housing the two hosts, and skateboarding, music and animal-dressing acts (inspired by the Lego 41727 set).
- Then there's the public area, with the famous jury in the middle with buzzers and crosses, technical TV elements and audience seating (inspired by the sofa of the Lego 10292 set).
Many details are present to make the set even more realistic:
- Rail-mounted TV camera.
- A TV camera that can be adjusted in height and depth.
- Backstage control screens showing scenes from the set.
- An elaborate backstage set with a large star in the background for the candidate interview area.
First of all, this project could be a good Lego set because of its really good playability. You can change acts whenever you like, thanks to a small fixture on the stage. You also have as many crosses as you like to display in front of the jury and at the top of the stage : 8 white crosses, 8 red crosses, and 2 golden crosses in case of a golden buzzer, of course ! If you want, you can use artists as audience members, or other minifigs you already own, and you can create new acts on your own. So you really can imagine all the stories you want !
Finally, if I had to convince you of just one thing, it would be the popularity of this competition. The Got Talent license has been adapted into over 70 formats worldwide since its creation 18 years ago! The Got Talent Global YouTube channel is followed by 21 million people, which is a lot but not as many as the America's Got Talent channel, which is followed by almost 30 million people. So it's sure that many people would be interested to buy this set !
So if you like this project and would like to see it come to reality, please support and share 😉
