First they employed animal testing with their research. This practice was shunned.

Then the scientists began to experiment with animal cloning. The world protested.

Then they began the Chimera project. Human-animal DNA splicing. The world was shocked.

World governments began to enforce restrictions and limitations to this type of research. Only certain types of animals could be targeted for experimentation.

Yet the hubris of man knows no limit.

Even when restricted from doing so one scientist ignored their demands. When this scientist could not find a willing test subject, he did the unthinkable. He experimented on himself.

The chaos and destruction that followed would shake the world forever afterwards, the world's citizens would come to remember the day they were introduced to The Arachnid Genome.

The scientist who ignored all the warnings and restrictions. He became obsessed with the weaponization of the arachnid genome after developing a silken-metallic alloy derived from the spider silk they researched. He was not satisfied with the amazing advancement this alloy gave to science. Dr. Laba wanted to push the envelope further. After seeing the great success with the cybernetics program that introduced the hero 'Buster Bot' to the world, Dr. Laba wanted to create a Human-Spider spliced chimera mech that he believed would be the ultimate weapon. However, no one was crazy enough to agree to have their genes spliced with a concentration of arachnid DNA. Finding no volunteers, Dr. Laba decided to attempt the research on himself in his home laboratory. There were many complications and oversights but after painful failures, Dr. Laba succeeded in bringing his creation to life within himself; and he was never the same person ever again.

The abdomen in its core holds a spindle of silken thread that can be unwinded if you release the clip assy. on the rear of the abdomen and, like a web, can be drawn out and attached to clippable Lego brick/plates for the purpose of hanging himself or climbing. The cog seen on the side of the abdomen is used to wind and unwind the thread out the rear of the abdomen.

Dr. Laba's Cephalothorax: (image 4)

One of Dr. Laba's major mutations from the arachnid DNA splicing is his Cephalothorax that mutated from his original human torso. He now has 4 additional limbs that are spider like in appearance. The Silken-Alloy suit has been modified to protect these limbs, and each limb has razor sharp appendages at their ends as well as clippy-creepy-crawler claws to assist with movement and climbing.

Enhanced Oxygen Breathing Apparatus:

One of Dr. Laba's greatest oversights was the fact that a larger spider would need far more greater amounts of oxygen to efficiently operate all the extra limbs and spider-organs/parts. There is not enough oxygen in our breathing air to accommodate the needs of Dr. Laba's new body. To compensate an oxygen enrichment device located in the abdomen had been installed. A tube from the abdomen connects to the breathing tank around Dr. Laba's mutated head. Unfortunately for the rest of us, Dr. Laba found a way to get the oxygen he needed.

Originally Mr. Green was an engineer who gained small, tiny even, popularity with the car manufacturer he started 'BPG', but in a freak car accident he found himself in a precarious situation. Approached by the scientists who would later pioneer the CHIMERA program; they offered him a new lease on life via a cybernetic assisted living suit. Basically, the scientists offered to make him a cyborg. One catch though; he would need to work with the military and test the weaponization features the suit was capable of. After years of tests, and acts of heroism; Brian earned the nickname 'Buster Bot' known for his potent arm cannon that had a big 'kaboom' effect when triggered.

Equipped with megaton selective control board

'Rocket Punch' Adamantium Fist:

Can be detached and rocket propelled towards targets, or used to perform good ol' fashioned punches.
