Steam Locomotive LMS Fowler Class 3F

For those of us who love trains, the LMS Fowler Class 3F is a must have in any Lego train collection. I love 1900's British steam engines as much as I love Lego so I decided to make this great 1924 model.

The Locomotive:
The LMS Class Fowler 3F is a class of steam locomotive that was made for the LMS (London Midland and Scottish Railway) and was also known as "Jinty". The small size, lightweight and short wheelbase made it perfect for small branches, operating both as passenger and cargo services. The inner cylinders made it's lower outside clean and easy on the eye. It has 2 water tanks, one on each side of the firebox and boiler, and at the back stands the coal deposit.
Lego: The locomotive is roughly at scale.
-Inside the crew compartment (cab) there is room for 2 minifigs and the roof comes off for better access. At the back, the coal deposit is open on top so you can place Lego black studs as coal. Inside, at the bottom, there is a opening so the Fireman can access the coal and shovel it to the firebox.
-Outside you find the detail of the Sander in front of the front axle. You can also see the lamp used during the night.
-Below the boiler see the detail of the simulated pistons that move with the wheel rotation.

The Minifigures: Like any other locomotive. the Class 3F has an engineer and a fireman.
Both these figures are important and are present in this project. They both fit inside the cab.
