"Howl's Moving Castle" is surely a familiar name to many. This fantasy animation directed by Hayao Miyazaki has left a deep impression on its audience, particularly with its memorable living, moving castle. Towards the end of the story, although the castle faced disaster and was almost destroyed, it emerged anew, reborn as a fortress capable of soaring through the sky. Unlike its original, somewhat military-like crawling state, the flying version is more romantic and elegant, aligning perfectly with my ideal of a dream home. With its red roofs, white walls, and lush greenery in the courtyard, it sketches out a warm and magical scene. Thus, I decided to create this aerial moving castle myself.

During the process, I realized that in the film's final scenes, the flying version appears only briefly for a few seconds, with far less detail than the crawling version. After extensive research and personal interpretation, I began designing my own MOC, striving to present this aerial fortress as accurately as possible. To verify the structural feasibility, I assembled an actual model using existing LEGO pieces and designed a cloud base for it. The final result was satisfying. I believe that this fantastical and aesthetically pleasing moving castle will surely catch the eye of LEGO enthusiasts and become a popular model. I hope everyone will enjoy the flying version of the moving castle that I have created!
