Sugarcane Juice Vending Cart

Just by hearing that name of this cart which is very popular in Vietnam. Sugarcane juice vending cart is a refreshing mobile vehicle for everybody in hot summer. You are probably seen sugarcane juice vendind cart around town, considering carts which serve freshly squeezed sugarcane juice are omnipresent all over Saigon. The imagine of the young lady who hold the glass of juice that has also become something of cultural icon. In most instances of her appearance, she spots a 70s inspired fluffy hairdo with untamed, poofy curls and an enviable sheen. Apart from the glass of sugarcane juice in her hand, the illustration set is completed with two luscious sugarcanes and an assortment of tropical fruits usually jackfruit, watermelon and pineapple; anything that screams fresh and thirst quenching. Sugarcane juice vending cart and her hodgepodge platter of exotic fruits have become a fixture of Saigon’s pavement-based camaraderie: a glass of refreshing sugarcane juice, a fresh spring roll and sliced unripe mango are all you need to fuel a multitude of juicy conversations pun intended. In Vietnam, sugarcane has been part of local cuisine for centuries, but juice vendors are a modern development. The appearance of this cart was even more recent, if photos of past Saigon are any indication.The reason that I build this project because when I was young, my grandmother gave me a glass of sugarcane juice every afternoon after school, it is my childhood memories of a traditional drink so sugarcane juice has captured a big part in my heart to this day. I have been a fan of LEGO for longer than I can remember. It is such an honor and joy that I can use Lego to turn my imagination, passion, and inspiration into tangible creations.
