With the release of the LEGO Movie 2 Wizard of Oz minifigures this seems a perfect time for an MOC based on this magical movie musical which has stood the test of time and is loved by so many.
I have done my best to capture the journey that Dorothy takes on the Yellow Brick Road through munchkin land where Aunt Em’s tornado wrecked house has landed on the witch, to the poppy field, the Wicked Witch of the West’s castle then ending at the Emerald City.
This set includes the four recently released minifigures of Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion with the addition of three munchkins. Ideally the set would also include the Wicked Witch of the West, Glinda the Good Witch and the Wizard of Oz himself.
