This is a Class 220 diesel multiple unit (DMU) in Virgin Trains livery, operating in the United Kingdom. These trains operate on a number of long distance cross country routes and have done since 2001. The Class 220 is no longer operated in this livery after losing the franchise to Arriva Trains. There is a 5 car Class 221 variant which can be made by adding in another centre coach which is still operating in this livery.
I have decided to model this train as an 8 wide body in order to gain the width necessary to replicate the end car cab details. This model contains 4407 pieces.
This is the first model I have uploaded that i have recreated and I would appreciate any comments on how to improve my future models.
