Universal Monsters Castle
The set created is one that brings together almost all the classic Universal Monsters for a massive monster-mash. Set in the castle owned by Count Dracula, the set contains features which have been developed to reference all the monsters. We find a sarcophagus containing the Mummy, a coffin belonging to Count Dracula, a banqueting table for Dracula's guests to sit at, a prison cell to hold the Wolfman whilst he is transformed and Dr. Frankenstein's lab. The castle has several prison cells to hold various guests of any of the Monsters. Because the castle is decorated with bats and Dracula theming we might call them Dracula's dinner guests.
Not to overlook Universal Monsters female characters, we have three of Dracula's brides as well as the Bride of Frankenstein and a rolling -pin wielding female villager.
Outside the castle, in the forecourt we have the female villager, one male villager, both of whom accompany Dr Abraham van Helsing. The set includes 15 minifigures and in total with the castle build the set comprises 633 pieces.
The set has been constructed in a modular style so it can be reconfigured in any way that the builder might wish to construct, as well as the design that I have prepared. The set features an exterior gate, a retractable drawbridge and portcullis as well as a fountain in the forecourt. The castle has been designed as though there may be an imaginary moat surrounding the castle, the setting is limited only by the imagination of the builder.
