Introduction
The most iconic vehicle and one of the best tourist attraction of my city, Triest in Italy, this vehicle is the happiness of the children and offers breathtaking views on Adriatic Sea to adults.
The "Tram of Opicina" is an historic italian tram inaugurated in 1902 and the only tramway line featured by cableway across the Europe. Cableway takes to take on slopes of 26%.
Specific
Number of pieces: about 650.
Dimensions: approximately lenght 35 cm x width 6.5 cm x height 12 cm (without pantograph).
Compatible with power functions.
Project
Designed using LEGO Digital Designer (LDD) in preliminary fase, reviewed "by hand" in executive fase, the care of some details (pantograph and headlights) took a long time. The roof is easily removable to better manage minifigures on the seats or power functions accessories. Other details include rearview mirrors and some stickers of the line number, car number and company logo that operates the public transport of Triest.
