The LEGO Maniac Cinema

Hi there, thanks for checking out my idea. This project started as a model of a small theater close to where I live, but it eventually evolved into an original building that gave me everything I love about small theaters.

I wanted a theater complete with the staples of the moviegoing experience. That's why I made sure to add the important details. This includes movie posters, a concession stand with popcorn machine and soda dispenser, a vending machine, a movie projector, and more.

The LEGO Maniac Cinema sits on a 48x48 baseplate, which means it could easily fit alongside existing modular buildings and into custom LEGO cities. The building also breaks open into multiple sections to make it easy to build and explore its interior.

The posters in the current model are blank placeholders. Ideally, this set would include posters based on classic LEGO themes -- such as Pirates, Castle, and Adventurers -- to capture the classic and nostalgic feel of a small theater.
