I visited LEGO Idea House in Billund in 2019 for the first time and saw all the wooden toys there. The mechanism and movements in these wooden toys was very interesting as they were designed almost 90 years ago. In 2020, an exclusive LEGO House duck model 40502 was released, so I was fascinated to build a wooden toy build of bricks to go with the duck.
I have tried to build a replica of a wooden elephant from 1930/40. The model is a build of approximately 1,500 parts using standard bricks, plates and curved slopes.
If you are a fan of LEGO history (how the company started in the 1930s with carpentry) then you would really appreciate and cherish having this replica of wooden elephant in your collection.
