Danger Mouse! Danger Mouse! DANGER MOUSE!
The original run of Cosgrove Hall’s Danger Mouse ran from 1981 to 1992 on Thames Television, and its iconic theme tune is still instantly recognisable to most British people in their thirties and forties.
Danger Mouse, the greatest secret agent in the world, lives in a secret underground base in a post box on Baker Street with sidekick and hamster Penfold.
One of his adversaries was the fame hungry Count Duckula, a vegetarian vampire duck who received his own series (with potentially an even more catchy theme tune!) in 1988. He was assisted by his butler Igor and his doting nanny.
This model has large (c 20 cm) models of DM, penfold, Duckula, Nanny and Igor.
And apologies to all those who will have the theme tunes stuck in the heads all day now!
