Welcome to the Kame House!
Join one of the greatest adventures in anime history and help Son Goku and his friends find all seven Dragon Balls.
Some Useful Tips and Advice:
  • Ask Bulma for her Dragon Radar—it’ll help a lot.
  • Don’t worry—the crab isn’t as big as “Mrs. Crab” on Planet Namek. If she takes the Dragon Ball into deep water, just use Master Roshi’s submarine.
  • Hurry up! Captain Ginyu and a cute rabbit are after the two-star ball. You’ll need Son Goku’s Power Pole to get it. No need to panic—the bunny isn’t a member of the “Rabbit Mob.” Or is he?
  • Fortunately, Master Roshi has already found one Dragon Ball. He keeps it in his secret room.
  • If you ever run out of food, you can find plenty of coconuts. There might even be something else hidden among the fruits. Be careful with the delicious-looking fish soup in the living room.
  • Baba left her crystal ball upstairs. If the Dragon Radar doesn’t work, try using it.
Training:
You can train with Krillin and Goku for the next World Martial Arts Tournament. The alarm clock is set for 5:30 AM. Yamcha left his clothes on the mattress upstairs, but he won’t be training with us. Since we’re on a small island, the training routine is a bit different, but most of the tasks can still be done:
  • Delivering milk (after swimming to the nearest inhabited island).
  • Swimming with sharks.
  • Participating in Master Roshi’s classes.
  • Dodging bees.
  • (For the milk delivery, the box with empty bottles can be found upstairs.)
If you lose your stamina, ask Krillin for a senzu bean.
SSJ Son Goku traveled back in time to train with you. Please don’t let adult Goku meet his younger self!
Layout and Facts:
This set is based on the anime versions of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, with a few unofficial extras.
The interior design of the house is based on Dragon Ball Z, but there are also elements from the original Dragon Ball series.
Some Unofficial Extras:
  • A Red Ribbon plane wing in the water.
  • Another unknown part of the house at the back. I imagine it as the perfect secret room, so I hid Jackie Chun’s stuff there. Unfortunately, the winner of the World Martial Arts Tournament doesn’t get a trophy, but I think it would be great—so I made one for Jackie Chun.
Included Minifigures:
  • Son Goku (kid)
  • SSJ Goku
  • Krillin (kid)
  • Master Roshi
  • Bulma
  • Jackie Chun
  • Captain Ginyu
  • Umigame
My failure in the 90s Challenge made me realize something was missing from my submission. So, I rethought the whole idea, added Shenlong and the Flying Nimbus, and created some new pictures. The last picture is the real-life version of my idea.
Why I Chose This Theme:
Growing up as a Dragon Ball and LEGO fan, I recreated many scenes from the anime with minifigures. I dream that one day, a LEGO Dragon Ball set will become a reality.
