Hot Air Balloon Fiesta Adventure
Powered only by warmed air and wind currents, hot air balloons soar majestically through the sky. This set captures the adventure of participating in a balloon fiesta, a festival where the international balloonist community comes together for events including the mass ascension (The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta in October can launch over 500+ balloons at a time), the special shapes balloon rodeo, speed and skill competitions, and the twilight balloon glow (Where balloons are set up just before dark and lit up using the propane burners)… and don’t forget to collect balloon-themed trading cards. This blue balloon launched several hours ago, and somewhere far below the chase team is carefully monitoring its flight path… waiting for the pilot to gently set down in an open field.
Hot air balloons come in a range of shapes and sizes, and it’s always exciting to one soar silently overhead. This set includes a balloon pilot minifigure and a hanging string.
