Sooty TV Studio

This idea is based on a British TV show called Sooty, which was originally created by Harry Corbett, and started as a short television performance in 1952. This led to an entire TV show called The Sooty Show, which was hosted by Harry Corbett from 1955 to 1975, and then by Harry's son, Matthew Corbett, from 1976 to 1992. There  were also 2 spin-off shows, Sooty and Co., which ran from 1993 to 1998 and featured Matthew Corbett, and Sooty Heights, which ran from 1999 to 2000 and featured a new host, Richard Cadell, who at one point was a co-star on Sooty and Co. The current series, called Sooty, is presented by Richard Cadell, who also currently owns the rights to the series.

This set idea is inspired by two classic episodes of The Sooty ShowSooty's Garage and Sooty's Spaceship. The set is made to look like a TV studio, and would include Sooty's Spaceship, a hammer, a space freeze ray, a control panel, Sooty's garage, a work bench, a gas pump, an old fashioned TV camera, Sweep's car, Sooty's water gun, a dog bone, and 3 minifigures. The three minifigures would be Sooty (a yellow bear with black ears who is also the main character), Sooty's best friend Sweep (a grey dog with black ears), and Sooty's other friend Soo (a female panda). I haven't finished working on the minifigures yet, but I will post pictures as soon as they are finished, although I will say that the minifigures should look like basic minifigures with short legs, and with their faces and ears printed on their heads. I think it would make a great set because I think it has some pretty neat play features.
