When ants are walking on the floor, it’s difficult to realize how remarkable they are. Ants are incredibly peculiar insects that inhabit almost the entire world, except for the poles and some islands. What’s so fascinating about them is their intelligence. Ants are capable of solving very complex problems. They communicate through pheromones, sounds, and touch.
This model depicts an ant bringing a delicious cake (yes, they love cake too) back to its family. A daisy and two dandelions decorate the ant's nest.
This model consists of just 1,592 pieces. It has 32 x 50 studs base, and 25 bricks high.
I build it initially for the flora and fauna theme for LEGO House exhibition challenge, I chose ants for the challenge because I love the role of that ant in the "Honey, I Shrunk The Kids", it is a brave, friendly and smart animal. I think this lovely ant's scene would be a great set because it is nature a classic scene that every person on earth already seen: ants bringing food to their nest! It is curious, cute also funny, it has two new kinds of botanical flowers and a CAKE! Why not? =D
I hope you like it! =]
