Hello
Idea
I come from Thailand. I'm 14 years old. I like Lego and love art. My Thailand has a long history of hundreds of years. There are many ancient sites located in different provinces all over Thailand.
These ancient sites are also hundreds of years old. I want to present the historical sites of my country through Lego bricks. I want everyone to see The Amazing of Thailand.
Project
So, I thought and designed Phra Prang Sam Yot as the first place. Because this place is an ancient place that is full of ancient arts and culture that is still intact and is a source of historical learning to the present.
Design
I designed it to be the same as Phra Prang Sam Yot today. The bricks of the Phra Prang Sam Yot are
damaged and broken due to the age of more than 800 years. It is very difficult to use Lego bricks to
make it look as if as possible. I am also the most determined.
History of Phra Prang Sam Yot
Phra Prang Sam Yot is an architecture influenced by Khmer. Because in ancient times, the Khmer Empire was very powerful. Phra Prang Sam Yot was built during the year 1724 B.E. to about 1757 B.E. (A.D. 1181- A.D. 1214).
Phra Prang Sam Yot was built as a place for religious ceremonies. Phra Prang Sam Yot is made of laterite decorated with stucco in a row of 3 pieces connected by a porch. It's a Bayon art.
In the Ayutthaya period as the capital, King Narai His Highness ordered the restoration and modification
of Phra Prang Sam Yot to be used as a Buddhist place for the Kings and people.
At present, Phra Prang Sam Yot is located in Lopburi Province, Thailand. The Fine Arts Department has registered as an ancient monument in the Government Gazette on August 2, 2479 B.E. (A.D. 1936).
The present, Phra Prang Sam Yot is over 800 years old and majestic to show off the beauty for Thais and foreigners to admire.
Phra Prang Sam Yot also reflects the civilization of architectural art that has been passed on from generation to generation and will continue to pass on to their children to grandchildren never ends.
The beauty of art will always be with Thailand.
