Villa Ichi, the Breathing Living Space

What do you get when you combine a treehouse, a water source and SpaceAge? Villa Ichi, the breathing living space.
(by the way: „ichi“ is the japanese word for „one“; Hopefully I'll continue with number 2, 3, … resp. „ni“, „san“, …)

Habitat not only for the residents of this 4-story apartment building, but also habitat for vegetation and animals. The countless water sources invite fish and birds to settle. Plants that climb up the structure provide soothing shade.
Just imagine how you push the glass panes aside and all the impressions of a forest invade you. You become one with nature. Or would you rather sit on the terrace and listen to the friendly sound of rippling water?

A few words about the construction:
4 discs are arranged in a staircase shape around the vertical structure. The vertical structure contains the staircase/elevator and the pump system, which pumps the water from bottom to top. The water then flows from roof to roof down into a pond system and from there back into the vertical structure. A person can reach the entrance door of the complex via a bridge that spans over the pond.
Corners were largely avoided so that the round shapes fit nicely into the existing nature. The round SpaceAge architecture of the 1960s is ideal for designing residential discs. Despite all the love for nature, the entire building is made of colored concrete; if only to relieve the heavy burden of the ponds of the roofs.

Why I built it:
Who doesn't dream of building his own house? Only very few people are able to make this dream come true. But with Lego it is possible to immerse yourself intensively in the dream - and to realize your dream house; if only on a scale of 1 to X. “Villa Ichi” is one of my dream houses that I will move into after I fall asleep this evening.
Architectural models are usually produced as unique pieces; Beautiful to look at - but it is and remains unique. With Lego, both the physical architecture and the spirit/idea of architecture can be reproduced/spread, so that many people can enjoy beautiful architecture.

Why I think it would make a great LEGO set:
In my opinion, there are too few architecture sets on the market at the moment. But I love architecture. And I think a lot of other people do too. That's why I would like to focus on architecture again with my model. It doesn't always have to be the architecture of a world-famous building. It can also just be the architecture of a smart residential building.
