The Silmarillion is a book by J.R.R. Tolkien describing the 1st and 2nd ages of Middle Earth. One story in the book is when the Elven king, Fingolfin, rides out from Hithlum and challenges the Dark Lord Morgoth to a duel. Fingolfin injures Morgoth several times, but in the end Morgoth crushes Fingolfin beneath his foot. Morgoth then tells his wargs to devour the body, but a great eagle comes and takes the body away to be buried.
This set comes with Morgoth, complete with shield and his hammer, Grond, and Fingolfin with his shield, sword and horse. It also comes with a warg (yes I know it's a bear in the photo, but I don't have any wargs) and an eagle.
