The idea💡 behind the project is crystal clear.
"Stand Together Earth Matters" was my personal interpretation of the STEM challenge. STEM is not only Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths! In many of the several aspects of today's research, professionals contribute to the development, improvement, and implementation of green energy solutions, making them more efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable.
The structure of the model is very simple. We have a small suspended island that represents a green glimpse of our planet. On it, we can see a waterfall from which we can harness energy through the power of water. In this small set (of only about 180 pieces), there is also a wind turbine that can harness the power of the wind and solar panels that bask in the light of our star ☀️.
Why this would be a great LEGO set?
In my modest opinion, this set will be great for both children and AFOL (like me ✌🏻).
Regarding children, the model would touch on very important aspects of our everyday life such as Environmental Education. Teaching children about renewable energy introduces them to concepts of sustainability, conservation, and the importance of protecting the environment. It helps raise their awareness about the impact of energy choices on the planet.
For Adults, the model will make clear that our future depends on a Sustainable Future. It will highlight the importance of environmental conservation, which means shifting to renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind, and hydropower, to help reduce carbon emissions. This is crucial for preserving a habitable planet for current and future generations 🫶🏻.
UPDATE
It is REAL! After a few modifications, it is here! I created the real version of the project. Although it is not made with trans-clear balloon pieces, it helps represent the potential of the final outcome of the idea!
