A Field Guide to American Houses

Welcome to the Miniature Modular Neighborhood
Inspired by classic American domestic architecture, this 2,270 piece idea contains six stately houses representing the English Revival, Victorian, Mission, Craftsman, Farmhouse, and Federal styles.

Learning about Architecture
Each house has its own unique characteristics to learn about, from gambrel dormers (the Farmhouse) to decorated vergeboard (the Victorian). Behind the facades lie an array of detailed interiors, from foyers, kitchens and bedrooms to attics and even a sun porch with plants! Speaking of plants, the front and side yards are landscaped with a variety of colorful trees, hedges, and flowers. And don’t miss the miniature vehicles that share their driveways and streets!

Why Support this Idea?
I think this would make an amazing LEGO set because it combines the challenging building techniques and adorableness of miniature-scale models with the ability to assemble them as a family or group of friends (each person can build their favorite house)! Not to mention the endless play and display possibilities!
