The Wild Robot

It all started the day I went to see the adaptation of The Wild Robot books at the cinema. I fell in love with the graphic style and the characters’ stories 🌟

As I love drawing, I immediately started making some sketches of the film's iconic locations and main characters 👀

After that, I began constructing a set that could include multiple references while maintaining a colorful and minimalist style ✨

As mentioned earlier, the idea was to design a set that could bring together the film's iconic locations, scenes, and landscapes 💐

It was crucial for me to incorporate all these elements without distorting the natural setting. I’m very happy to have managed to represent five iconic places :

Not to mention multiple trees, flowers, rocks, animals, and tree trunks 🤩

Several types of trees can be recognized, including oaks (an adaptation of the tree I created for my entry in the Valentine's Day contest : Everyone Can Be Loved) as well as birches inspired by the amazing MOC by Axsbricks 👍

Inside the house, you’ll find Fink’s bed, the fire that keeps them warm, Brightbill’s nest, and the family portrait showing Brightbill’s growth.

Outside the central island, you can also spot Paddler’s enormous tree trunk; it seems he’s finally managed to cut it down, well done ! 🌳

Finally, this set comes with a lovely display stand where our favorite characters and greatest enemies can be placed :

And if you look closely, you might spot Chitchat the squirrel and Pinktail with her children ! 🐿️🦝

As a fan of DreamWorks' work, I’ve always wanted to see more of their worlds in bricks, especially since very few sets have come to life in that universe 😮

With the release of this masterpiece, I think it would be a great opportunity to start a new adventure by reaching for greater horizons ! 😍
