The Fokker Dr.1 Triplane is one of the most widely recognized aircraft of WW1 thanks to the fame of Manfred Von Richthofen  (the ‘Red Baron’), who is particularly associated with an all-red Triplane. Introduced in late 1917, the three-wing format made it a very manoeuvrable fighter at high altitude. This model is in the colours of a member of Richthofen’s Jasta .
