Category 11 Pumper NSW RFS Fire Truck

This design is a model of a Fire truck commonly used by The volunteer firefighting organisation known as the NSW Rural Fire Service in the state of NSW Australia. The model is incredibly detailed and comes fully equipped with firefighting equipment and cabin interior. The model has been constructed to be as accurate as possible and contains equipment such as hoses water cannons, nozzles, tools, fire extinguishers and standpipes (used for accessing hydrants in Australia). The truck is built to Miniland scale and would be a great addition to some of the other large vehicles Lego has sold.

Due to its many features and detail, this design would create a fantastic building experience for adults and older teens. This set is different to other large vehicles sets, as trucks have not commonly been produced. The truck is easily displayable with lockers and cabin doors that open showing the detail inside. I decided to build this for builders looking for a new type of challenge other than large cars. I have spent a lot of my life around fire trucks and other emergency vehicles and I hope this design will inspire others to appreciate them as I do.
