Old House (70-80's Korean Home)

This house is a 70's and 80's building in Korea that has already disappeared. All the houses I and my family lived in disappeared, and apartments were built in their place. Although small in size, it was the home of a happy life. At that time, Korea was poor, so many families put in a lot of work and effort to escape poverty and lead a happy life. This house, which is an ordinary family, also started a side job. A small house was converted and used as a separate store and living space. There was only one room and a kitchen. Of course, there are toilets and storage in the outside, but there were no common shower facilities or baths.

They were much poorer than they are now, but it seems that many families at that time lived relatively happy lives. I have achieved some material abundance now, but it feels like something is missing. So, I made this house to recall the memories of the past and to remember the happy moments. The present comes from the past. If you don't know the past, the future isn't that bright. To remember the difficult times and to find a life where you can be happy even with small satisfaction. I want people from other countries to know about Korea's difficult past. And I wanted to show the results of Korea's education and efforts.

In celebration of Chuseok(Korean Thanksgiving), I want to make an old house full of childhood memories and keep the happy memories of life forever with lego.
