Now at halfway to 10,000 it's a proper time to do the same thing as I've already done with my Titanic project, that is, to improve this project concept by presenting a new alternative design proposal for you and LEGO to consider.
This design is basically the same as my Buffalo Airways DC-3 model, so please check out that project to see how this particular design does as a REAL MODEL!
And having myself built and handled both these DC-3 models I can GUARANTEE that this somewhat smaller version is MUCH BETTER in many ways - and a more realistic concept to succeed in the final CUUSOO Review! :)

In this VIDEO you can see the landing gear system in operation - in the smaller version it works just the same way!!
Here's some examples of minifigs which could come with a set like this:
The original big model is around 2,500 pieces - set like that could cost $150-180!
Yet the new BETTER design is around 1,350 pieces, meaning a probable price range of some $85-115.
HOWEVER, everyone please keep in mind that with every CUUSOO project the final design is up to LEGO, and the price is then determined by the final product!
