Bleeding Hearts

Inspired by the mini plants collection, this piece would sit wonderfully beside the other builds and botanical collection. Bleeding hearts were a large part of my childhood, being as we had a bush outside our back porch. I loved that plant until it died, and every year we'd replant it so I could love it more. I think this would be a wonderful Lego set to share because I want people to feel the same joy I felt looking at the plant. It's a fairly simple build, But I believe it'd be perfect for people getting into the botanical theme, or for people who just can't have a bleeding hearts bush grow where they live.

I made this model because of my childhood, and encouragement from my peers. I'm still in high school, and I've been lucky enough to come across people who would love seeing my art made for them to access. I have wanted to become a designer for the Lego group since I was 9, and this is my first of many attempts to come at this. I made this because I was incredibly inspired by the newer Mini Plants collection, and I thought this would be an elegant addition to the theme. The building techniques are fairly simple, but they keep the elegance of the other plants.

I made this model in Studio because the pieces required for this build don't exist and aren't available. I hope one day, whether or not this makes it to the market, that I'll be able to buy the parts myself and make it. I'll stay hopeful, and if it doesn't go well, I'll come back with a better build. I'll keep trying until I catch enough eyes and inspire enough people that I make it.
