I have always loved the amazing illustrations in children's books of cross-sections of underground; showing glimpses of animal life in burrows.
This little set is a rabbit burrow.
The carrots are shown in all stages of their life cycle, from blossoming white flowers, to tiny baby shoots, through to being ready to eat. Indeed, the carrot showing through the ceiling can be 'plucked' to feed to the rabbits. It is held on by a small LEGO clip, for easy removal during play.
The entrance to the burrow is a sloping tunnel which doubles up as a slide when being played with.
