In Tokyo at 2020 Olympics we will see some new sports: karate, sport climbing, surfing and skateboarding. These sports will make their Olympic debuts for the first time!
The Tokyo metropolitan government is considering big investments in the infrastructure and buildings to host the events.
Here you will see a proposal for an all-in-one building, karate dojo, sport climbing wall, surfing pool and skateboarding ramp.
The colors and the shape of the building are inspired by the Tokyo Olympics logo which originates from the traditional Japanese pattern known as “ichimatsu moyo” (symbol of elegance in the Edo period).
The building is composed of 2366 Lego Bricks, the length of the construction is 62.1cm (24.5inch), the width is 17cm (6.7inch) and the height is 46cm (18.1inch).
