Story:
This is a microscale scene of Ancient Egypt! The year is 2560 B.C. and the Great Pyramid of Giza has just been completed! Sail the trading boat down the River Nile to collect the giant slabs of stone needed to build the tomb of the Pharaoh. Visit the huge statue of the sphinx to gaze up at it in wonder and visit the three smaller pyramids of the queens.
Idea Description:
I first submitted this set 4 years ago, back in 2015. It was one of my first Lego Ideas submissions and, although it's quite a small build, it managed to draw people in thanks to its simplicity and recognisability.
I hope to beat the record of 157 supporters that it managed to reach in 2015 with this updated resubmission and, with your help, reach 10 000 supporters. I think a smaller, more affordable Ideas set would be a good addition to the market, as well as a historical display piece suitable for all ages.
Idea Details:
This set contains 210 parts, which is almost four times as many parts as in my original design (53parts). I didn't change it from the original, but instead just added to it. You can easily remove the pyramids, ship and Sphinx from the diorama, as shown in image 5 and 6.
