The European Wasp

This is the European Wasp, Vespula germanica.  I wanted to create insects as display models for the desk but found I had to substantially scale them up due to the detail needed.  I wanted this model to look like a specific genus rather than a generic wasp.   I've used a mixture of brick types here, including a two way movement between the thorax and abdomen using Technic parts to make it poseable, and chose to add a name panel to display along side.

The kit contains 855 bricks.
