I think the next version of the striker-class starfighter should have a little mechanism that keeps the cannons aligned at all times. The above picture shows that it can be done. It's actually quite a robust little mechanism. The striker is now stationed on the Star Wars Star Port

By the way, two of these striker class starfighters were created from bricks solely from the venator. I only used two extra cockpit canopies. With the bricks left over I could still build a fury class like spaceship...
