Designed with an integrated hinge mechanism that allows the board to fold up just like the normal game. With Lego providing a sturdy box, cards, and play money this set is a truly 100% playable board game.

The property themes of this Lego set are based solely on Lego original themes and excluded any licensed themes such as Star Wars, Harry Potter, etc for copyright reasons. I tried to loosely base these builds on old sets I remember from when I was younger. The mini-builds included are:

·        City – Construction worker with Truck and Cat

·        Ninjago – Ninja with Glider and Eagle

·        Bionicle – Figure

·        Adventurers – Adventurer with Tank and Crocodile

·        Western – Cowboy with Wagon and Cow

·        Pirates – Pirate with Raft and Monkey

·        Castle – King with Chariot and Horse

·        Space – Spaceman with Rover and Ostrich (If any animal was alien it would be the Ostrich!)

·        Rich Uncle Pennybags - sleeping on his rolling bed of money

·        Police Officer - with Police Dog, Bicycle, and jail cell that can be used during game play

 

Monopoly – The Fast-Dealing Property Trading Game has been a home classic since 1935 when Parker Brothers first released it. As one of the best-selling board games of all time this set would be an excellent opportunity for Lego to serve current customers and expand to new markets. With Monopoly celebrating 90 years in 2035 this is a perfect time to release a 90-year anniversary set and then Lego can release another 100-years anniversary set in another 10 years.
