Curious George

No one is more curious than the little monkey George, always ready to discover and learn together with his inseparable friend, the Yellow Hat Man.

Our furry friend lives in the city, in a building with yellow walls and a bright blue roof. Together with his friend, they drive around in a yellow car in search of new fun and colourful adventures.

Yellow Hat loves his little monkey and patiently helps George to learn and grow every day. George is lively, but Yellow Hat always keeps his cool and solves everything with a smile.

Together with George and Yellow Hat, there are their fellow adventurers, the upstanding Porter with the inflexible and sweet Hundley and his neighbours and friends Steve, Betsy and the dog Charkie

In our family, we love this curious man and learn many useful things from him, so I wanted to pay tribute to this fantastic cartoon with an artwork dedicated to him.

The design recreates the joyful atmosphere of the cartoon and reproduces Yellow Hat's town house in a nice way. there is also the car, also yellow

The building is presented as modular, divided by floors. The street and the lobby, George's flat, the attic and the stone slab roof with the vegetable garden and the pigeon aviary, where we can see his feathered friend Compass.

The work reproduces many details from the cartoon:

In the first module we find, the street outside where we can see the typical blue awning, the red carpet and the typical plants on either side of the entrance; passing through the elegant doors, we discover the sumptuous foyer, with the long red carpet with gold embroidery, the reception orders, the letterboxes, a comfortable armchair with small table and a beautiful retro-style lift. All overseen by the Doorman and Hundley. Often in front of the building you can see Charkie running away and Steve and Besty chasing after him. That dog is a brat.

In the second module George and Yellow Hat's flat is developed, on the external façade extends the balcony while internally we find the external corridor that leads to the entrance door of the flat, crossing it we arrive in the hallway with the coat rack and the hat hanging, to the side the kitchen with sink, hob, refrigerator and the inevitable fresh fruit, adjacent is the main room, where we find the table with the chairs, the green sofa, the red armchair and the yellow lamp, then along the corridor in the middle, we see the carpet and the decorative table, on either side is the bathroom with the bathtub and on the other side our little monkey's lovely room, with bed, easel for painting and toys.

The third module is the blue roof with an attic enclosed by a stone slab, the outside is decorated, the surface is covered with tiles and includes arched windows. Inside, we find the attic with objects such as a telescope, a bicycle, boxes and antique caskets stored inside.

The floor, which can be raised and separated, includes a bird aviary that houses Compass and his pigeon friends and a roof garden that George and Hat love to tend.

I put a lot of passion and fun into the realisation of this project and I hope it will bring a smile to your face just as George does with his cheerfulness and curiosity
