There have been a lot of sets in the last year that are really inspiring as far as techniques and aesthetics, so my goal was to create something that incorporated many of those aspects into a set that would make a great display piece.
Water lilies are such incredible flowers. They are extremely delicate and visually striking. There are many colorful varieties of flowers, but I felt the yellow and white coloring is really iconic. The flowering blossom rises up out of the pond while the unbloomed blossom is preparing to explode in a colorful display.
It's a smaller scale set because it would be very versatile in locations that it could be displayed. It comes in at a mere 280 pieces.
