Fortunately, this deceptive moment of serenity would be short-lived. The days of "Jak and Daxter" had come to a close as the lovable duo entered a dark, alternate world. One with hours of tough-as-nails gameplay, surprising narrative plot twists, and a newfound voice for the lead protagonist!
Naughty Dog's Jak 2 would go on to become a critical and commercial hit, further cementing the series, and its heroes, as mascots for the Playstation 2.
