This is one of many models of animals that I've wanted to design for some time now, but felt that I needed to capture the essence of the animal rather than just the shape. I wanted to capture the muscle, sinew and rage of a charging Bull, but in a small model so that it was the ideal size for a desk display.
This model went through three versions before I was happy with it. I worked on the outline and bulked up the body, which made it front heavy, so I attached it to a base for stability.
I hope to create other animals in the same style in the future, also emphasising their essence.
