Based on various different designs of research bases, this set showcases an Antarctic Base, it features a loaded interior and various unique building techniques. The structure is built as a massive octagon supported on four pillars made using LEGO rollercoaster tracks. Inside is the common area with a kitchen, TV, couch, three beds, and room for storage. There's also a separate research room with a microscope and a computer. The ladder in this room leads to the main control center with various computers and navigation controls. Up top is a massive satellite, which can be moved around. Also included with this set is a detachable snowy landscape to place the base on, a portable restroom, and a snowmobile that can transport this restroom.
The set includes 5 Antarctic researchers, 3 penguins, a fish, and the set as a whole has a total of 1,275 pieces.
