Bringing this idea to its physical form was a lot of fun and a great building and designing experience. I assume that building it and using its functions could bring a lot of joy and artistic experience to all of the builders of this set around the world. My design depicts some of the most crucial moments of Scooby Doo shows, where the villains are unmasked to reveal their real identities and show their real intentions. They pretend to be ghosts in order to attain some assets or to scare people away from important places. These ghosts were good at tricking many people until the Scooby Doo gang appeared and unveiled the real intentions of the villain. This set is based on the unmasking theme. The mechanisms of my designs are made in such a way that each unmasking act can be triggered manually, and with each ghost, the real identity will be revealed. Another important feature is modularity. Every ghost can be connected to another ghost to give the user options and the possibility to customize it according to his preferences. My design includes three ghosts from the classic Scooby Doo Show. Starting from the left, you can experience Spooky the Space Kook. This ghost was scaring people with his iconic laugh and with the fact that he was petending to be a ghost from an alien world. My build depicts his alien ship, which is blinking, the windmill is rotating and the face of the alien skull is disappearing and the real face of Henry Bascombe is revealed. He wanted to scare people away from the abandoned Air Force facility because he knew that it would be reopened and that he could make money by selling it to the government. The next villain is called the Black Knight. Actually, he is the first protagonist of the Scooby Doo show in the episode "What a Night for a Knight" so it was important to me to include him in this set. It was Mr. Wickles with his motive to scare away the visitors of the museum in order to fulfill his art forgery scheme. The whole theme of this module is based on the medieval theme and walls of the castle. The last villain is called the Ghost of Doctor Coffin. His plan was to smuggle the golden bricks across the border with Canada. He was pretending to be the insane doctor. When the gang revealed his real identity, they found out that he was the officer Oldfield, who posed as a border patrol officer. The mechanism reveals the golden bricks, which he tried to smuggle across the border.
This set shows the real essence of the Scooby Doo show, and I, as its designer, believe that many builders would love to display it for its playful nature and roots for classics.
