CN Tower

The CN Tower is the largest free-standing tower in the Western Hemisphere located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and was built in 1976.  The construction started on February 6, 1973, and was completed on April 2, 1975, making it the world's tallest tower and the world's tallest free-standing structure until the titles were taken by the Canton Tower and Burj Khalifa in 2010.  The tower opened to the public on June 26, 1976, but the "official" opening was October 1, 1976.

The tower is 553.33 meters (1,815 feet and 5 inches) tall.  It has over 2,000,000 (two million) visitors every year, and you are able to ride a high-speed glass elevator to the main section near the top.  The tower has a restaurant that slowly spins, so wherever you sit down you can see all around Toronto.  It also has 3 meeting rooms, a cinema, a gift shop, and more.  The gift shop is at ground level, whereas the other rooms listed above are in the main section high up in the tower.

This model is made up of 78 pieces, and is a resubmission of my original CN Tower project.
