One day I had to think about the saying: "sometimes the thing you are looking for the most has been standing right beside you al the time".
I suddenly had this idea to try to build this saying into LEGO.
Why not make a 1800' scientist, searching across the universe for an extra-terrestial lifeform, on a remote plante, with his gigantic, steampunk like telescope, not noticing the alien that is standing right beside him. Ready to give him a tap with a hammer to let him now: "Hey look, I'm right here" :)
The telescope is nicely detailed with gold and light-grey griebling and the necessary transparent elements. It is placed in a large room, with wooden flooring, beautiful colums and tall windows.
