In the glass house one of the most important architectural principles proposed by Mies van der Rohe becomes evident: "Less is more", here the applied materials are minimal, the economy of elements is very clear and practically any type of ornament.
The basic concept of The Glass House was taken from Mies van der Rohe's Farnsworth House, albeit with differences such as symmetry and firm seating on the ground.
