Lego Calendar

Presenting the Lego Calendar! This brick-built calendar is perfect for home or office display and is designed to make rearranging the days at the beginning of every month quick and easy.

The calendar structure is made of nine 16x16 technic bricks that were introduced with the Lego mosaic art sets. The dates are each built on their own 5x5 bases that can easily be removed and re-positioned without having to remove the dates from the bases. A larger 41x5 base at the top contains the month as well as the year. Instead of using printed tiles I have chosen to create the letters and numbers using 1x1 square, 1x1 half round, and 1x1 quarter round tiles to give it a more brick-built feel. A colorful frame of red, yellow, green, and blue gives it a playful classic Lego vibe. Included are the parts to create two 5x7 bases for the 23/30 and 24/31 dates.

Perhaps the most unique parts of this model, though, are the mini builds for special holidays and seasons. These builds will allow you to not only add life to your calendar but also inspire you to make your own builds for more special days and holidays. Think of this set as a "starter kit" for creative calendars! Included are eight brick-built vignettes for the following special days:
