The Guarded Bridge

Hello, fellow builders! This is my first submission containing exactly 3,000 pieces! I hope you like it!

"Any signs of the spy, Faedrick?"

"No my lord. We haven't seen anyone but the old fisherman, Mr. Duddle."

The bridge guards are keeping a close watch from the great bridge on the Silver river, as a dangerous spy was discovered and had attempted an escape. The only person they have seen so far is the old man Duddle, who always spends his time fishing along the banks of the Silver river, and, as you can see, he's just now got a big tug on his line. Little do the bridge guards know that the spy has disguised himself as one of the guards in an attempt to collect more valuable information before slipping away!

This model is probably one of my favorites for its size and all of the stone details. I think this would make a cool display model for any fan who likes castle themed builds.

It was a pretty simple build as many details were repeated, which can be expected with architecture. I thought that putting windows on the sides of the bridge would make the model more interesting. If you're wondering why I didn't show any interior pictures, it's because there aren't actually any rooms inside.

The railing and slopes above the windows were not originally that tarnished copper color, but I think it gives the build some character. Did you notice the micro figures incorporated into the railing? I thought that would give the build a nice touch.

Finally, the model sits on a 16 x 48 stud area.
